Golden Time Celebration – Term 3
Our children had an absolutely fantastic Golden Time yesterday, enjoying a wide range of activities that celebrated all their hard work throughout Term 3. From getting their hands muddy in gardening to whipping up colourful slime, the creativity was flowing.
Others stepped into the shoes of crime scene investigators! A chocolate cake mysteriously vanished from the staff room, and the children were called in as junior forensic detectives. Dressed up in full forensic suits, they searched for clues, examined evidence and worked together to piece together exactly what had happened. With all the teachers on the suspect list, the tension grew as the children followed the trail of evidence.
After careful detective work, they finally cracked the case… the culprit was Mrs Shillito! It was a fun-filled, energetic afternoon packed with laughter, teamwork and lots of detective drama.
Other took on the challenge of Impact MMA, learning new skills and building confidence and we will be sharing more news on how your child can become involved with this group out of school.
A huge thank you to Sherwin, Joe and Suzanne from Impact MMA, who visited school to run an exciting martial arts and fitness session in the hall as part of our end‑of‑term Golden Time treats. The children had an amazing time. The coaches were fantastic with them, and the pupils picked up some impressive new skills — many of which they were very eager to demonstrate to staff at the end of the session.
Impact MMA offers a fun, high‑energy fitness experience that really engaged our children, and the coaches would love to welcome some of them to their regular classes.
They are also running a FightFit Half‑Term Camp on:
Thursday 19th February 09:00–14:00 Ages 6–15
If there is interest in additional days, please let Impact MMA know, as they are looking to add more sessions.
Further information can be found on their website: https://impactsalisbury.co.uk
It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm, teamwork, and joy across every activity. Golden Time continues to be a brilliant way for pupils to explore new interests and celebrate their achievements, and yesterday was no exception.
Thank you for your continued support as we recognise and reward the children’s efforts this term.
